Strolling and shopping in Plaka | Visit Acropolis | Cooking class & lunch
The morning program starts with a strolling tour through Plaka. Plaka is the old historical neighbourhood of Athens, clustered around the northern and eastern slopes of the Acropolis, and incorporating labyrinthine streets and neoclassical architecture.
After visiting the Plaka area, you will enjoy a guided Acropolis tour, with the Parthenon Temple as the most important historic Greek landmark and symbol of the Ancient Greek civilization.
The morning program is completed with a culinary workshop in a traditional Greek tavern, enabling you to dive into the principles of Greek culinary tradition. The workshop will be followed by lunch in the tavern where you can enjoy the local cuisine to the fullest.

Guided tour of the “Ilias Lalaounis” Jewelry Museum | Jewelry Workshop | Lunch
During the Friday morning program you will be able to experience the heritage of the famous 4th generation handcraft jeweler Ilias Lalaounis. The guided tour of the Ilias Lalaounis Jewelry Museum will lead you through highlights of the permanent collection of over 4.000 pieces of jewelry and micro sculptures from over 50 collections designed by the museum’s founder, Ilias Lalaounis, between 1940 and 2000.
The program includes a jewelry workshop where you can enjoy a hands-on experience with traditional techniques of metalsmithing as well as decorative arts such as ceramics, woodcarving, ivory, and ceramics.
After the workshop you can relax during a traditional lunch at a nearby tavern.
